Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day! Companion Pack!

One popular story in my therapy room is, Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day by Judith Viorst.

Some goals I like to address with this story include:
  • Adjectives
  • Sequencing
  • Comprehension
  • Recalling details
  • Responding to why questions
  • Higher level thinking
I created a fun companion pack to help address these goals!

In this file:

-Sequencing Sentences

-Comprehension Question Cards & Board Game

-Present & Past Tense Verbs Memory Matching Cards:  Verbs taken from the story.

-Graphic Organizer: Use to help recall terrible events that happened to Alexander in the story.

-Good vs. Bad Adjectives:  Sort the adjectives into the good or bad categories.

-Draw & Explain Worksheets:  Help target higher level thinking based on the story.
