ReplyDeleteThanks for the Valentine's freeebie - I always work on following directions as it is such a critical skill in the classroom. As for storybook companions, thinking ahead to spring, I like to use The Grouchy Ladybug, The Very Hungry Caterpillar and The Tiny Seed - any of those would be terrific!
ReplyDeleteI'd love a sequencing app where I could take pictures of kids doing various activities (like putting on their coats, or sliding down a slide) and then have them put them in the right order.
ReplyDeleteBeth - Have you seen Sequences by EdNinja? You can do what you describe with this $4 app.
DeleteFollowing more difficult directions, not just one step or 2 step. Sequencing steps to functional activities that makes the student retell the story.

I love book units; it's how I have discovered so many fantastic books! I agree a book unit for Eric Carle's The Grouchy Ladybug or The Very Lonely Firefly. Thanks!

The smarty ears app on my wishlist is articulation scenes and language empires. As for storybook companions, I would like to see any of the Dr.Seuss or any Eric Carle books.
