Eric Carle Sticker Book App Review & Giveaway!

Do you and your students love Eric Carle?!  How about the Hungry Caterpillar?!  Are you looking for ways to incorporate apps into speech sessions?  How about an app to use along with any Eric Carle book?!  If you answered "yes" to any of the above questions, keep reading!

This app is a great supplement to any Eric Carle book.  I was recently contacted by Night & Day Studios, the developers of this cute, adorable, and easy to use app!

As you can see above, this opening page gives you/your students/children 5 different sticker pages to decorate.  When you click one, you are brought to a technological sticker page!

Your students can have fun picking the stickers from the bottom panel and moving them around the page.  Students can make the stickers larger and smaller too!
Many of your favorite Eric Carle characters/images are included!  Your students can have fun mixing and matching them!  Oh the language that can be elicited!
At any time, you can click the "house" image to either refresh the page, go back to home to pick another page or email the image!  No wifi at work?!  Take a screen shot to save and email it later!

This $0.99 app is great for targeting the following speech & language goals:

  • vocabulary carryover
  • answering questions
  • story recall and comprehension
  • following directions
  • describing
  • and so much more!
