This activity pack will help target this vocabulary concept receptively and expressively!
In this file:
-What is it made of sort: Students will sort the items into the category of what it is made out of. There will be a worksheet for students to complete as they sort to help them recall their responses.
-Name it: Students will roll dice and move along board game. For each spot they land on, they must name an item that is made out of the material they landed on.
-Which one doesn't belong: Students will pick a card and will identify which item listed is not made out of the same material as the others. Once they respond correctly, they can hold onto their card. If they land on the “juggling” card, they will get an extra turn. The student with the most cards at the end of the game is the winner.
-Color it: Students must express what the items on the page are made out of in order to color the picture.

ReplyDeleteI too use EET and there are definitely areas where kids get stuck (naming the group is another big one). What a fun way to incorporate EET-inspired activities!

ReplyDeleteI am so glad that this is a circus theme. I have been planning a week of circus themed items and this comes just in time. I love the "which doesn't belong" and what is it made of sections!
