Thanksgiving Expanding Vocabulary Fun! (EET Companion!)

Are you loving the EET companion packs?!?!  I know I am loving them and my students are progressing so nicely with all of the opportunities to work on describing and expressive vocabulary!!!  My Thanksgiving companion pack is ready to rock!!

Using this activity:
-Print and laminate a turkey body for all students.
-Print and laminate the turkey feather pieces and place them in the middle.

-Print and laminate the visual/directions and display them for your students.  If you have a Smart Board you can display this page on it for your students to see while playing.  This will help them understand what they need in order to win!

-Place the object pile in the middle.  Students will take turns picking an object.  On each object card is an EET “bead”.  They must express the describing concept requested (EET bead).  Once they express that description, they can locate the turkey feather piece that has that EET bead on it. Students will take turns picking an object and describing it while adding feathers to their turkeys until all of the cards run out.  The first student to add all feathers on their turkey with all 7 types of feathers/EET beads is the winner!  (**48 object cards included!**)

Also included in this pack:
-Graphic organizer and review worksheets are provided.

-A board game is provided which can  be used with any photo cards/vocabulary words.  Students can move along game board and must describe named objects based on the space they land on.  Use your EET to reference which description should be used.
