The Case Of The Missing Suitcases (a vocabulary & inferencing activity)

I am always looking for fun and unique ways to work on inferencing.  I came up with a new idea I think you will love!

Each student will be presented with a "mission."  They must follow their mission to complete the task:

They must identify whose suitcase is whose by using their clues provided.

A checklist is provided so students can mark off as they find the suitcases.  This can also make it an individual activity because you can check their work after.
