ReplyDeleteI use apps on the iPad daily in therapy. As a traveling SLP, it is so much more convenient to use apps in place of some materials, so that I am not constantly carrying around a huge bag full of materials!

ReplyDeleteI mainly use the iPad as a reinforcer when kids finish work. However, I've recently started to collect speechie apps to use for therapy. Hopefully, I'll be using the iPad more.

ReplyDeleteI use ipads for therapy on a weekly basis, not necessarily daily. If we have extra time at the end of a session, we play a reinforcing app.

I use the IPad in spurts depending on the apps I have and what my students are working on. My style is "fun"... I want the kids to have fun while learning!
