My Favorite Things (LINKY PARTY!): Early Intervention Toys!

As the school year comes to a close, I like to provide you with some fun summer reads.  This summer, I will be bringing you a monthly linky party series called, my favorite things!  This way you can get some ideas for the new school year, or just have fun reading my blog while sitting by a pool.

So are you curious about my current favorite EI toys/toys to get for my own children/birthday gifts?!  I love anything that can promote language in a fun and natural way.  Below are some of my favorites in no particular order!

Tunnel:  Such a fun way to work on prepositions, following directions, and play skills!  Throw toys into the tunnel and have children get them.  It is also fun to play peek-a-boo!  This tunnel folds up so it is easy to take with you.

Gumball Machine: It has lights and sounds and fun balls to put in and take out with a push of the hand!

BUBBLES!!  Who doesn't love pairing actions with sounds like "pop!?"  This bubbles toys doesn't spill!  No fear anymore!!

Puzzles: Who doesn't love puzzles?  I love ones that are easy to manipulate with small hands and can build language at the same time!

These were just a few of my favorites at this moment.  Curious to know what other SLP bloggers have as their favorites?  Check out who linked up below!
